    Actually this is a bad idea I think: the 'venue' is no longer the same venue and may have a different programming style, location (and atmosphere) and management.

    This may be quite complicated from a technical point of view I think. And this then still will not tell you what band was on what venue (at what time). A better option would perhaps be to create 1 'master event' under which all the others are registered with separate venues and times.
