I just had a thought on how we might be able to enable this in a slightly different way.

Like I said previously, creating new concerts in our database with the concerts you've marked in Setlist.fm won't work well because they only allow a single band per concert instead of multiple bands like out site and others.

So instead of creating new concerts, we could try to match up your Setlist.fm history with concerts that already exist in our database and automatically mark you as an attendee of those.

It's likely that this process won't transfer all of your concerts (like if a concert isn't in our database or if it doesn't match up for some reason) but it could get a majority and give you a head start in bringing your concerts over.

We have a pretty full ToDo list at the moment, so it wouldn't happen right away,…

Hi Justin, thanks for providing this additional detail about Setlist.fm. I now see there is more than 1 way to catalog a concert. I think your idea for matching up concerts in both Setlist.fm and CA is a great idea and I appreciate you proposing it.

Just joined today and I see this request is from 2016. Not encouraging. I have all my data in setlist.fm. Manually importing my 100+ concerts is not a good use of my time. So far, I would say that 20-25% of the shows I went to that are in setlist.fm are not here or Songkick. Ain't no way I'm going to go through that process again (I added quite a few into setlist.fm).
